Every year our Freehold Chiropractor participates in the Annual Holiday Food and Coat Drive, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. The Association of NJ Chiropractors (ANJC) which Dr. Russell Brokstein is a member, is once again
launching its statewide community service initiative to help the less fortunate during the holiday and winter seasons. As a participating chiropractor, Dr. Brokstein’s office, Hometown Family Wellness Center will be running a food drive along with collecting donations of unwanted coats, hats, scarves and gloves in good condition. These will be distributed to local charities.
This is the 10th year our chiropractor in freehold will be participating it the annual holiday food and coat drive. Dr. Brokstein says, “Growing up in Freehold, I always wanted to return and establish myself in the community to give back to the town. My goals are to provide the best chiropractic care possible, educate the public about natural health and wellness and to participate in community drives to help make Freehold the amazing town it is. The holidays are meant to be a time of joy and celebration. Unfortunately many people aren’t as fortunate as the rest of us. If we can donate food and warm clothing during the winter months we can put smiles some of their faces.”
From November 27, 2015 until January 4, 2016, you can drop off non-perishable food items, coats, hats, gloves and
scarves for those in need at our office, Hometown Family Wellness Center at 9 Broadway, Freehold, NJ, . These items will be donated to our local food pantry, The Open Door and St. Peter’s Thrift Shop in downtown Freehold, NJ. Anybody that participates will be given a gift of health certificate for a complimentary consultation with Dr. Brokstein for your use or so you can help somebody you know be more healthy.

Chiropractor in Freehold NJ, Dr. Russell Brokstein is holding his Annual Holiday Food and Coat Drive called Baby It’s Cold Outside. Watch this video of Dr. Russell telling about this important community event to help others during the winter months:
I moved back to Freehold to give back to the community I grew up in. Bringing natural health and wellness through chiropractic was just one was I wanted to help the people in the Freehold area. As a doctor I enjoy educating the public on how to make their health a responsibility and priority rather than just taking medications. Also as a health figure in the town, I feel it’s important to help others who are in need. Many of us celebrate during the holidays but we need to remember there
are many who are suffering without food or proper clothing during the cold winter months.
As a chiropractor in Freehold NJ I would like to challenge others in the town and surrounding areas of Marlboro, Manalapan, Howell, Colts Neck, Jackson and Morganville to bring in non-perishable food, coats, jackets and other clothing to help make a difference for others this holiday season. I will be collecting items from now until the first business day of the new year. So please take the time to bring something by. As I said in the video, anybody that donates at least 5 food and or clothing items, I will give you a gift of health in return with an offer for a complimentary health and wellness consultation you can use for yourself or give to somebody as a gift.
Happy Holidays everybody and have a Happy and Healthy New Year from your chiropractor in Freehold NJ, Dr. Russell Brokstein and Hometown Family Wellness Center. For more info about our practice: click here

Happy New Year everybody! 2017 is here and time for us to refocus on our health and wellness. Every day is a new start to set goals to accomplish for the day. It’s much easier if we set small goals each day.
Every New Year people set resolutions and never get started on them or give up after just days to a couple of weeks. It’s best to take baby steps. Some easy basic steps are to commit to drinking half your body weight in ounces of water every day. Try cutting out caffeine and sugar from your diet. Sugar and caffeine are addictive. They also lead to many health issues.
This year we also held our annual holiday food and coat drive. For the last 10 years Dr. Russell Brokstein has been collecting non perishable food and coats to help those less fortunate. Watch Dr. Russell in this short New Year video:
So, lets get started on making the New Year even better. I’m here to help you every step of the way! Let me know if you need some motivation.
