Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Freehold Award Program and data provided by third parties. The annual awards program honors the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Freehold area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs benefiting the community.
Dr. Russell Brokstein has been in practice for 16 years and returned to Freehold 9 years ago to give back to the town he grew up in and how he came up with the name “Hometown Family Wellness Center.” Dr. Brokstein enjoys educating his patients and the public about health, wellness, and pain relief without medications or surgery. “Being an important part of Freehold was a goal of mine when I returned. Not only to be successful in practice, helping make a difference in patients’ health, but helping Freehold continue to be the amazing community it is. Sponsoring local organizations and holding events like food, coat and clothing drives are just part of how I appreciate my hometown.
