How to Prevent Back and Shoulder Pain While Shoveling Snow!
Written by on December 19, 2009 in Chiropractic News, Health Tips, Local News
Dr. Russell Brokstein, Chiropractor and owner of Hometown Family Wellness Center in Freehold NJ, every year sees many people who injure themselves shoveling snow in his town and the surrounding towns of Marlboro, Manalapan, Howell, Colts Neck and Jackson, NJ.
“The first snow is upon us, and many people overdo it when they shovel snow. Too many are not in shape, have heart conditions, or just don’t prepare to prevent injuring themselves. Back pain and shoulder problems can be prevented if people only knew the basic tips of shoveling snow.”
To help prepare and prevent you from getting injured, watch Dr. Brokstein’s video:

Great information! My dad injured his lower back shovelling snow about 15 years ago. He tried pain pills for a month (marginal improvement)before going to see the Chiropractor. After just a few adjustments, his low back pain went away completely! He now uses Chiropractic on a regular basis to prevent future injuries!
